* Slick Bracer and The Case of the Kidnapped K-9 *

From Don't Touch That Dial! at WETS in Johnson City Tennessee comes another in their series of original Slick Bracer shows. This parody of old-time detective mysteries is filled with puppy puns and many laugs. Follow Slick and the gang as they solve this canine whodunit.

* Time Out For Bill Lizard *

Produced by Roger Gregg of Dublin Ireland time Out was first broadcast on RTE Radio 1, the National Broadcasting Company of Ireland in April 1999. In addition to producing this piece Roger stars as Bill Lizard, a private detective with a phone that unexpectedly spins him, and the listener, into a vortex of impossibility.

* Know The Naked Truth - KTNT *

Producer, writer, director and actor Dan Coffey brings us a recreated broadcast from the early days of radio and station KTNT. Cast and crew recorded this out doors on the bank of the Mississippi River -- on the site of Norman Baker's once famous KTNT.

* The Midwest Radio Theater Workshop Camping With Joe *

Produced live at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri as part of the 18th Annual Midwest Radio Theatre Workshop this is the story for the search for the meaning of life and what happens once your get all the answers.

* Bruce Trail Enviro PI *

New from Producer Andy Camp of Ontario, Canada is the latest adventures of Bruce Trail. This new series of 4 minute radio cartoons comes from an interactive CD ROM which includes a game, the radio series and much more. Once again our hero Bruce is called upon to bring justice to environmental villains to sinister for the law.

* Get A Clue - Parts 1&2 *

Being a fundraiser is not always an easy life as producer, playwrite and actor Rick Malsick (a professional funderaiser by trade) of Mission, Kansas tells us in this original radio musical comedy. Follow the fun and folley of trying to get the money you need to do the project you want in this two-act program. NOTE: The program that features Part 2 of Get a Clue also features "The Alphabetical Variety Show" from the 19th Annual Midwest Radio Theatre Workshop -- its a story told in music and with the alaphebet -- but no traditional dialogue.

* Crosswinds *

Producer Tim Forrest from Nevertheless Radio Productions created this series while at KUMN in New Mexico. It's a series of illuminated readings that gives us a chance to look in on the many facets of life in the southwest.

* Square Cloud Radio Theatre *

Producers Alex Oliszewski, Greg Tremblay, Noel Bean, and Lisa Eli of KDUR-FM in Durango, Colorado have created this origional series of skits and dramas for their weekly audio theater program. Featured in this show sampler are "Dawn" -- an inner horror story, and a variety of humorous skits looking at, and poking fun at the absurdity of life. Producer Dolores Brandon of Brooklyn, NY reads excerpts from her recently published memoir "In The Shadow of Madness". It is the story of a little girl growing up with a father afflicted with mental illness.

* The Halberdier of the Little Rhineschloss / Blues In the Night *

This show features the work of two different high school student groups as they begin to learn the art and craft of audio theater production. From Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts comes an audio adaptation of the O. Henry story "The Halberdier of the Little Rhineschloss" -- a period story about love and money. From producer Dianne Ballon in Main comes the original play "Blues In The Night" produced and written by her students, it is a story about reconnecting with the past.

* The Importance of Being Ernest *

Producer Dwight Frizell of Kansas City, Missouri brings us another installment in the series "From Ark to Microchip" -- here he explores the fascinating life of artist, philosopher and scientist Max Ernest. Frizell pulls together the puzzle pieces of Ernests life to create a better understanding of the man and his accoplishments.

* Undesirable Elements *

From Producer Jordan David of Cleveland, Ohio comes a spoken-word choral for individuals, peoples and cultures. Based upon the live stage performances conceived and written by Ping Chong of New York City, NY, Undesirable Elements is a sonic tapestry of memory and myth, history and poetry, story and song.

* The Will of Osiris - Parts 1 & 2 *

From Last Summer Productions in Tell City, Indiana comes The Will Of Osiris, a story of denial, abandonment, and betrayal. Written by Shane Ernst And D. R. Goffinet this origianl radio plays tells the story of Alex and his father's will - a will which reaches out beyond the grave.

* The Gables and The Potion *

From Peter Pagano and Claude Chabod's Theatre of the Fantastic of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey comes The Gables. A man breaks his leg and goes to the old family house of a friend to recover - who he meets along the way changes his life forever.

From The Third Volume Of Little Evil Things, produced in Burbank, California, comes The Potion, a short tale about a witch and her magical brews.

* Boom Dot Bust *

From Phil Austin, Pteter Bergman, David Ossman, and Phil Proctor, better known as the Grammy nominated Firesign Theatre, comes Boom Dot Bust -- their 1999 adventure of life in the midwest. Follow the Firesign boys to the fiddlers edge, where though it might look like a bump on the map, at least it's a bump with a name, Billville.

* Living In A Box and Plastic Finger, To Graberville With Love *

From Lynskytology's Jeremy J. Difiore comes Living In A Box. Jeemy says this orginal audio play is intended to make us think about the way the media has defined the use and abuse of alcohol and drugs in today's society. Also, from community radio theatre in Garberville, Northern California comes episode one of Plastic Finger, To Garberville With Love. Originally performed live on the air at KMUD in the spring of 97, it is a spoof on all that is Bond -- James Bond.

* The Hour Of The Wolf *

From Atlanta Radio Theater and producer Henry Howard comes The Hour Of The Wolf written by Thomas E. Fuller. It was supposed to be just a simple hiking tour of the Bavarian Alps. But something is hunting the hunters in the haunted Dutchy of Augsbach, and it is up to Dr. Stanhope, Investigator of Occult Phenomena to find out what before it's to late.

* The Tales of the Francois Vase *

From author Julia Older and producer Kevin Gardner, of Hancock, New Hampshire comes The Tales of the Francois Vase — a theatrical journey through history. This story of love, obsession, and madness which spans over 2,5000 years is based on an actual grecian vase now housed in Florence, Italy.

* LA Festival Radio Program *

From Executive Director and Artistic Director Peter Sellers of Los Angeles, CA comes the LA Festival Radio Program. Recorded in 1993, over a three week period at many locations throughout the LA basin, this interdisciplinary and intercultural project included interviews with artists, music and poetry. This edition of The Radio Works primarily features poetry samples from the series. You’ll hear the works of poets from many parts of the world including: Eloise Klein Healy, Giaconda Belli, Abena Busia,Adrienne Rich, Georgianna Sanchez, and June Jordan.

* Case of the Scarefaced Killer *

From producer Max Schmid and director Steven Lewis of the Gotham Radio Players of New Jersey comes “The Case of the Scarfaced Killer.” Part of an ongoing old-time-radio spoof featuring the adventures of Stark Rock, Manly-Detective-At-Large, this episode follows Stark and his faithful assistant Lois as they labor to discover who just inserted a dagger in the back of their client. Will Stark and Lois stop the villainous Scarface? Will the client survive the knife in his back long enough for Stark to collect his paycheck? What is that chicken doing in Lois’ purse? Tune into “The Case of the Scarfaced Killer.”

* Rough Night At the North Pole *

From The New Hampshire Radio Theatre, a troupe composed of radio and television professionals from different broadcast stations throughout the Granite State, comes “Rough Night at the North Pole.” It’s Christmas Eve and Santa receives a visit from a pair of naughty children with a plot to throw Saint Nick himself in jail. Can Santa escape from jail in time to deliver toys to all the good boys and girls? Find out in “Rough Night At the North Pole.”

* Celestial Harmonies *

From producer Sheila Daughtry and the Soundstage radio theatre troupe of WMNF-FM, Tampa, Florida, comes Celestial Harmonies, the story of a man unable to commit to any final decisions about his life. He cannot make up his mind whether to seek a PhD in astronomy or continue his music career, nor can he choose between the biologist and the singer he is dating. However, Rob’s lofty notion of remaining a renaissance man is knocked down to size when he reconnects with a woman he knew in high school: the cocky, independent Jay. The show stars Phyllis McEwen, a noted poet and performance artist, who ís nationally known for her one-woman Zora Neale Hurston shows.

* The Myth of Absolute Time *

From producer Barry Gremillion and the Firehead Mythological Radio Players of Mission Hills California comes “The Myth of Absolute Time”. In this story three intrepid news reporters embark on a time-travel adventure in search of an answer to that age old-question, "Did time exist before the beginning of the Universie?" Encounters with ancient Greek and Babylonian astronomers, Newton, Eisten and many others give them answers and more questions.

* The War of The Worlds Y2K *

From Chris Roberts of WMUL-FM at Marshall University in Huntington West Virginia comes a modern retelling of a radio classic "War of The Worlds Y2K". Produced in the tradition of the Orson Welles classic this update was broadcast without warning on December 20, 1999. Unexplained audio space transmissions from the year 2010 warn of a secret invasion to take place on January 1, 2000 -- How are we hearing the future? Will this become the past?
