Forward... Into the Past

Looking back through the sweet-smelling smoke of Time, to 1967, the Summer of Love, on Alternative FM radio from Los Angeles, there emerged four or five crazee guys who blew the minds of millions. The Firesign Theater had invented their own form of audio comedy -- intelligent, irreverent, intense, interesting, illicit, and intense.

Through many years, and many presidents, the firesign has been there with its unique combination of guerilla audio theater -- fast paced, topical, and surreal. We are proud to feature many Firesign recordings in The Lodestone Catalog. The Firesign Theatre
